Digital Skills for Africa Initiative
The Digital Skills for Africa initiative aims to bridge the digital skills gap across the continent, where many individuals are still unable to fully utilize the internet's potential. With a commitment to train 1 million Africans in digital skills within a year, the program has successfully trained over 500,000 individuals in just six months. This training empowers participants to become entrepreneurs, find employment, and contribute to economic growth. The initiative includes face-to-face training sessions and an online portal, making digital skills accessible to those unable to attend in-person sessions. This approach ensures that more people can learn at their own pace, using their own devices, thus expanding the reach of digital education across Africa.
